Es Chemisches ElementKrypton (Kr), mit a Atommasse ab 83.798(2) Sie, besitzt 6 Stall Isotope: 78kr, 80kr, 82kr, 83kr, 84kr und 86Kr, davon 84kr am meisten reichlich (ca. 57%). Die anderen 25 Radioisotope sind instabil und haben eine relativ kurze halbes Leben (die meisten weniger als eins zweite).
Das kurzlebige Isotop von Krypton ist 100Kr, mit einer Halbwertszeit von etwa 10 Millisekunden. Die langlebigste ist 81Kr, mit einer Halbwertszeit von etwa 229.000 Jahr. Krypton-81 war schon sehr alt Grundwasser (50.000 - 800.000 Jahre).[1]
